Where does my donation go?: Offerings support the sangha’s requisites—such as food, medicine, and utilities—and the monastery’s building and maintenance costs. As reporting practices mature, summaries may be published alongside updates.
Is my card information stored on this website?: No. Card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout. This site only receives confirmation that a payment was initiated or completed, according to what you authorize.
Will I receive a receipt?: Stripe provides a payment receipt by email when checkout completes. Retain that record for your files. Additional acknowledgement from the monastery office can be arranged where needed.
Is my donation tax-deductible?: That depends on the laws where you live and your personal situation. Buddha Ashram does not provide tax advice; please speak with a qualified professional.
Can I donate in a currency not listed?: The checkout supports major card currencies via USD, EUR, and INR presets. For other arrangements, contact the monastery office by telephone.
